CIT has many relationships with factors located throughout Asia and can use these relationships to enable Asian companies to sell directly to U.S. customers on terms without letter-of-credit support.

CIT can also provide direct factoring support to U.S. companies that are owned and/or supplied by Asian companies and, in some cases, may provide direct factoring support to Asian companies that are selling into the United States. CIT may also be able to assist Asian companies to sell directly to European customers on terms without letter-of-credit support.
