Antares Reis joined CIT in July 2006 as Vice President for CIT Aerospace and Defence Finance Group, a unit of CIT Group Inc. (NYSE:CIT), a leading global commercial and consumer finance company.

Reis leads CIT’s European origination effort to tailor financial solutions for European aerospace & defence clients and financial sponsors. He has led and been an integral part of a variety of transactions across the aerospace and defence market including the MRO, aerospace distribution, aircraft engine manufacturing, flight academy and OEM segments.

Prior to CIT, Reis was an Assistant Vice President with GE Capital in London. Whilst at GE Capital, Reis worked on European aerospace and defence transactions and has extensive international working experience covering projects in Sweden, Norway, United States, Italy and UK.

Before joining GE Capital, Reis worked for McKinsey in Portugal as an Associate, PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Strategy Consultant and as a Stock Broker-mutual Funds Specialist at CCF Bank and Pactual Bank in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Reis received his B.S. from FGV with a concentration in Finance and holds an MBA from London Business School. He is fluent in Portuguese and English and has a business level understanding of Spanish and Italian.
