Your Opportunity as a Communications Media & Entertainment Analyst
 

Communications Media & Entertainment Analyst Analysts have the opportunity to work with each sector and are exposed to the entire deal process from origination through the deal’s syndication and closing process, including the establishment of client relationships and the initial pitch of a deal. After the initial close, CM&E maintains these transactions, and analysts work closely with the portfolio manager to participate in amendments and the continued care of the account.

As an analysts within Communications Media & Entertainment, you’re exposed to a broad range of transactions. You learn about the credit process and expand your financial skills as you work on:

  • The origination process, attending meetings and creating pitch books and term sheets for prospective deals;
  • The deal structuring, pricing and underwriting process by
    • assisting senior deal team members in assembling internal credit reviews
    • analyzing company financial statements and creditworthiness, and
    • performing due diligence on clients, including their affiliated companies and management teams
  • Materials including confidential information memorandums and lender presentations through interaction with Capital Markets throughout the syndication process;
  • Loan documents and all aspects of the legal and closing processes;
  • Continued care of Communications Media & Entertainment's portfolio of accounts by analyzing compliance documents and financial statements and participating in future amendments to deals.
