As per CIT's approach across North America and Europe, we are committed to creating deep and enduring client relationships based on our extensive industry expertise combined with our global corporate finance capabilities.
We target private equity companies’ small, medium and large cap via private equity funds and investment banks to leverage our global relationships in the Australasian and Asian market. We provide funding for companies on various transactions, most commonly:
- Leveraged and management buyouts
- Acquisitions
- Recapitalisation
- Refinancing
- Turnaround financing
- Bridge financing
- Balance sheet restructuring
We work with multiple sponsors in Australasia/Asia and are currently building our loan exposure of assets for companies across various industries.
The team is led by Phil McCabe, Managing Director, CIT Corporate Finance Australasia. Previously he led the Syndicated Loan Group for CIT Leveraged Finance Europe where he managed key relationships with investments banks, hedge funds and private equity sponsors.
The Australasian team includes Mick Wright-Smith, Director and Julia Szonyi, Senior Associate who are based in Sydney.
