Achim Schmidt began his career in a management role within a market-leading factoring affiliate of a German bank. He gained experience working as a sales representative, key account manager and general manager for renowned banks and finance companies within international operations. As sales manager and member of the general management, he led the reengineering and restructuring of large sales organisations. His extensive experience in the factoring and leasing area together with his good connections to medium-sized businesses in Germany have contributed significantly to success.

Following the establishment and expansion of Enterprise Finance Europe GmbH in 2002, Schmidt successfully implemented its transition to CIT Commercial Services (Europe) GmbH in April 2006. As Managing Director he is responsible for further development of CIT Commercial Services (Europe) GmbH in Germany and Europe. Her serves as a honorary judge at the Finance Court of the German State of Hessen.
