Senior Managing Director, CIT Commercial Finance Europe CIT Group Inc. Marc Adelson is Senior Managing Director of CIT Commercial Finance Europe, a unit of CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT), a leading global commercial and consumer finance company.

He recently relocated to CIT’s London office from New York City to help grow CIT’s commercial finance business throughout Europe.

Before moving to London, Adelson oversaw CIT’s asset-based lending business throughout the United States, as Co-President of CIT Business Capital.

Prior to CIT, he spent 13 years at Heller Financial, where he served as Executive Vice President of their corporate finance group. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing Heller’s lending activities across the nation. Before Heller Financial, Adelson held various positions within Citicorp and Security Pacific Business Credit.

Adelson is a member of the American Banker’s Institute, the Turnaround Management Association, and the Commercial Finance Association. He received a B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College.
