Bill Taylor
William (Bill) J. Taylor is Executive Vice President and Controller and has over 30 years of experience in financial reporting, planning, accounting, finance and internal controls. As Corporate Controller, he is responsible for CIT’s public and internal financial reporting, financial analysis, accounting operations, financial controls and tax compliance & planning.

Taylor joined CIT in 1989, has been its Corporate Controller since 1991 and serves on key CIT committees, including the Disclosure, Capital and Internal Controls Committees. Prior to joining CIT, he served as a senior audit manager with KPMG in New York, specializing in financial services and real estate.
A CPA, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The New York State Society of CPAs. He participates in the Controller’s Roundtable of the CFO Forum and previously served as chairman of the American Financial Services Association Accounting Committee.
Taylor holds BBA and MS degrees from Adelphi University and has attended the Wharton School Advanced Management Program.
