F. Scott Kellman has been Chief Executive Officer of Care Investment Trust since May and its President since March 2007. Kellman has been a Managing Director and Head of Real Estate with CIT Healthcare since January 2007. He is a veteran of the healthcare industry and has 23 years of experience deploying capital in healthcare and real estate.

• Monitoring impacts on healthcare real estate of technological advances and changes in medical-service delivery
• Trends in bifurcating operations and in real estate in healthcare services companies
• Determining own or lease strategies for operators
• Evaluating the current capital markets’ impact on financing healthcare real estate 

Prior to joining Care Investment Trust, Kellman was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Healthcare Property Investors Inc. from June 2005 to January 2007, where he was responsible for directing business development and sourcing investment opportunities. In addition, Kellman served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Tenet Healthcare Corporation from March 2003 to May 2005, where he managed the financial aspects of Tenet's real estate and oversaw the company's corporate finance and cash management functions. From 1993 to 2002, Kellman was an executive officer of Omega Healthcare Investors Inc., where he acquired and provided debt financing for healthcare real estate properties. Kellman served as Chief Operating Officer during the last three years he was at Omega. In addition, he founded and operated Medical REIT, a healthcare REIT, which was merged into Omega Healthcare in August 1993.

He received a BA in Political Science with high distinction as well as a JD from the University of Michigan.
