Managing Director and Chief Petroleum Engineer, CIT Energy

Jerry Jeram is Managing Director, Chief Petroleum Engineer and Senior Structuring Officer for E&P and Midstream energy. Jeram heads the petroleum engineering group and oversees the review of oil and gas reserves and all assets supporting investment decisions. He is also responsible for the review of client corporate structure, management and operations, customer prospecting, deal structuring and industry and commodity overview.

Jeram has more than 30 years of experience in petroleum engineering. Prior to
joining CIT, Jeram was the Director & Petroleum Engineer at BNP Paribas in their
Corporate Oil and Gas lending division. He was responsible for reviewing oil and
gas reserve collateral for transactions worldwide, customer prospecting, deal structure and was President of several special purpose entities related to the bank’s direct ownership in Oil and Gas properties deriving tax benefits to the bank. Prior to this he held senior engineering positions at Manufacturers Hanover Trust and at Texaco.

He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).

Jeram holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
