Peter Gaw
Peter Gaw is the President of CIT Energy. He is responsible for building a broad-based energy platform and delivering financing and advisory products to higher-growth, entrepreneurial companies throughout the energy and power sector.
Area of expertise:
Gaw has more than 20 years of experience in the energy finance and energy investment banking services sectors. Prior to joining CIT, he was an Executive Vice President at ABN AMRO, where he was the Head of Energy & Resources Americas and Global Head of Power & Utilities. In these leadership roles, he managed a team of approximately 40 bankers who provided a wide variety of financial and advisory services to clients across the full spectrum of energy-related industries. Prior to ABN AMRO, Gaw held senior positions with CIBC and Chemical Bank.
He is a member of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers and a member of the Board of Directors of the Electric Power Supply Association (EPSA).
Gaw holds a Master's in International Business from Georgetown University and a BS in International Economics from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
