Executive Vice President and Global Head of Human Resources

James (Jim) J. Duffy is Executive Vice President and Global Head of Human Resources. He is responsible for the development and delivery of employee programs, policies and benefits as well as the structuring of human resource plans to support CIT's business growth.

Prior to joining CIT, Duffy was Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Citigroup’s Global Consumer Group. Before working at Citigroup, he held senior human resources positions at other major banking and manufacturing companies, including AlliedSignal, Ingersoll-Rand, Banker’s Trust and GE.

Duffy serves on the Board of Jobs for America’s Graduates and is a longtime supporter and sponsor of the Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies at Cornell University.

He received a BS from Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
