Michael Baresich is Executive Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer. He is responsible globally for all information technology at CIT, including strategy, architecture, application development, infrastructure and risk management.

  • Services-oriented architecture 
  • Outsourcing/offshoring



Prior to joining CIT, he served as Managing Director and Global Chief Information Officer for Citigroup Asset Management. Before Citigroup, he was co-founder and CEO of CoKinetic Systems Corporation, where he developed and patented software products for major clients in the financial services, consulting and airline industries.

Before this, Baresich was Global Head of Operations and Technology for Deutsche Asset Management. He joined Deutsche in 1999, when it acquired Bankers Trust, where he spent over 15 years in a number of key business and technology management positions.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of CoKinetic Systems Corporation.

Baresich received his BA from Binghamton University, an MA from the University of Florida and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
