Bob Ingato
Robert (Bob) J. Ingato is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. He is CIT's Chief Legal Officer and is responsible for overseeing all legal, compliance and corporate governance matters for CIT and its operating groups. He also leads CIT’s Corporate Services organization.
Areas of expertise:
Ingato joined CIT as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in 1999. Before working at CIT, he held executive positions at Newcourt Credit and AT&T Capital, where he served as General Counsel.
Ingato is a member of the Board of Trustees of both the Liberty Science Center and the New Jersey Historical Society. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Morris County American Heart Association.
He received his JD degree with honors from Cornell Law School and his BS degree in Business Administration with honors from Bucknell University.
