Bob Ingato

Robert (Bob) is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. He is the Chief Legal Officer at CIT and is responsible for overseeing all legal and corporate governance matters for CIT and its operating groups.
Areas of expertise:
Ingato joined CIT as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in 1999. Before working at CIT, he held executive positions at Newcourt Credit and AT&T Capital, where he served as General Counsel. Ingato is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Liberty Science Center. He received his JD degree with honors from Cornell Law School and his BS degree in Business Administration with honors from Bucknell University.
