David Davis

Senior Vice President, CIT Aerospace, Business Aircraft
David A. Davis is Senior Vice President and General Manager of CIT Aerospace, Business Aircraft, managing all corporate aviation transactions and programs for CIT. He is responsible for all Business Aircraft strategic management, global business development, sales administration, portfolio maintenance, and group profitability.

Davis has been involved in aviation finance for nearly 30 years, beginning his career with Cessna International Finance as regional manager for Asia/Africa & Pacific, then moving into progressively more responsible positions managing the aviation lending groups for Textron, Bombardier, and Raytheon. His experience includes international lending exceeding $18 billion in more than 82 countries, primarily for aircraft used for business purposes.
He is an active member of the Helicopter Association International (HAI), National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and the National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA), where he served on the Board of Directors and as President of NAFA for 2005-2006.
Davis received a BA in Political Science from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
