Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer for CIT Bank – Small Business Lending

Gary Taylor is Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer for CIT Bank – Small Business Lending, a division of CIT Group Inc. He is responsible for origination processing and servicing of CIT’s Small Business Administration (SBA) loan portfolio.

Taylor has more than 25 years of experience in credit risk management and operations. Prior to joining CIT, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Lehman Brothers Bank. Taylor has also held various Executive level positions at Moody’s Investors Service, AT&T Capital Corporation and the FDIC.
He currently serves on the Non-Bank Lenders Committee of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) and is involved with several community based organizations near his home in South Orange, New Jersey. Taylor graduated with honors with a BS degree in Business from Florida A&M’s School of Business and Industry.
