Glenn Votek



Executive Vice President and Treasurer

Glenn A. Votek is Executive Vice President and Treasurer for CIT. Votek is responsible for all functional areas of CIT treasury group, including capital markets, securitization, asset/liability management, hedging, international treasury, cash management, and banking and rating agency relations.

He is also actively involved in CIT investor marketing activities. Included among his committee memberships are: Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO), Financial Disclosure Committee, Pension Investments Committee and the Employee Benefit Plans Committee. He also previously served as Chairman of the Board of CIT Bank.

  • Votek joined CIT in November 1999 following its acquisition of Newcourt Credit Group, at which time he was appointed Treasurer. Prior to the acquisition, he was the Treasurer of Newcourt, a position he assumed following Newcourt's acquisition of AT&T Capital. Votek was also Vice President and Treasurer of AT&T Capital and part of the senior management team that brought AT&T Capital private, along with a leasing consortium. Votek has also held various treasury and financial management positions within AT&T Corporation, Amerada Hess Corporation and Westinghouse Credit Corporation.

    He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Treasurers and Financial Executives International.
    He is a former director of the Boards of the American Securitization Forum (ASF) and the Hunterdon County YMCA (also former lead financial director). Votek holds an MBA in Finance from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management and also has pursued post-graduate work at the University of Virginia Darden School.
