Jason Meek
Managing Director, CIT Energy
Jason Meek is Managing Director, CIT Energy. In this capacity, he will be responsible for heading up the origination efforts for Oil & Gas Exploration and Production (E&P) financing. Meek brings a 17-year energy investment and commercial banking career to CIT.
Areas of expertise:
Prior to joining CIT, Meek worked at RBC Capital Markets, where he was Managing Director with the Energy Investment Banking team. At RBC he was directly responsible for origination and execution of over 50 investment and commercial banking transactions for E&P, midstream and energy service companies. Prior to RBC, Meek has been with KeyBanc Capital Markets, CIBC World Markets, Deutsche Banc and Jefferies & Company. During his career, Meek has originated and/or executed an extensive number of financing and advisory transactions including public and private equity, public and private debt, credit, financial and strategic advisory and M&A Advisory, among others. Meek received his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Houston and his B.A. in Marketing with a minor in Biology from Texas Tech University.
