Managing Director and Group Head, CIT Energy

Mike Lorusso is Managing Director and Group Head for CIT Energy. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing all financing activities within the energy sector of CIT.

Areas of expertise:

Conventional and renewable power generation and related infrastructure

Oil and gas exploration and production

Energy services and pipeline and storage facilities

Prior to joining CIT, Lorusso served as the Head of Energy and Project Finance, Americas, for National Australia Bank. Before this, he served as Senior Vice President of Structured Finance for ABB. Prior to his work at ABB, Lorusso worked as a deal team leader to originate, structure, and close energy transactions for GE Capital Corporation. He began his career as an engineer with Ebasco Services working as an engineering associate on nuclear power plant construction.

Lorusso holds FINRA series 7, 29 and 63 licenses. He received a BS in Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
