Nick Small
Managing Director, U.S. CIT Vendor Finance
Nicholas (Nick) M. Small is Managing Director, U.S. of CIT Vendor Finance. In his capacity, Small is responsible for identifying process improvements and best practices, optimizing and integrating technology and development, and implementation of solutions.
Areas of expertise:
Previously at CIT, he served as interim Managing Director for Vendor Finance, Europe, where he was responsible for leading a business focused on the delivery of vendor finance solutions across the European equipment finance market. Small also served as Director of Shared Services, overseeing the consolidation of the Technology and service platforms of various CIT entities into one consolidated operation.
Prior to this role, he resided in Ireland and was the Controller for the European financial accounting functions, including the centralization of the Finance platform to Dublin, Ireland. His initial years with CIT were spent as the CFO of US Vendor. Prior to joining CIT, Small held positions with Ernst & Young as a Certified Public Accountant in the Audit Group, Becton Dickinson as a Manager in Treasury Operations and Bristol Myers Squibb as Manager of External Reporting. Small received his BS in Economics and Accounting from Muhlenberg College.
