Executive Vice President, President of Insurance Services and Head of Corporate Services & Procurement
Paul G. Petrylak, Executive Vice President, is President of Insurance Services and Head of Corporate Services and Procurement. He has served as President of CIT Insurance Services since 2005, where he is responsible for building and expanding the sale of insurance and financial protection products. During July 2010, his role was expanded to include the management of CIT Corporate Insurance programs. In addition, Paul served in a corporate strategic planning role from December 2009 through October 2010.
As Head of Corporate Services and Procurement, he is responsible for the management of CIT corporate real estate and facilities functions and the procurement of third-party products and services, with a focus on cost reduction.
Areas of expertise:
Before joining CIT, Petrylak served as President and CEO of Chase Insurance Group (CIG), an affiliate of JP Morgan Chase & Co., where he oversaw the management of CIG's insurance agencies and underwriting activities. He was also President and CEO of Chase Life and Annuity Company of New York, as well as Chase Life and Annuity Company, establishing Chase as one of the first major banks to have an affiliate underwrite a proprietary fixed annuity. Previously, Petrylak served as CIG's Chief Financial Officer for five years and also held senior management positions at Chemical Bank.
He is President and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Bankers Insurance Association (ABIA), an affiliate of the American Bankers Association. Petrylak also served as treasurer of the Columbia Engineering School Alumni Association for eight years and currently serves on its Investment Committee. Petrylak received a BS from the Columbia School of Engineering and Applied Science and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
