Robert (Bob) Bielinski is a Managing Director who leads the restaurant industry practice within Corporate Finance at CIT. He has more than 20 years of restaurant and retail financial management, investment banking, corporate lending and transaction experience.

  • Prior to CIT, Bielinski was a Managing Director with a middle market investment bank. Before that, he was a Managing Director with Richard C. Breeden & Co., an advisory firm headed by Richard Breeden, former Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. His investment banking experience includes seven years at Lehman Brothers where he began his career. In the restaurant and retail industries, Bielinski has held a variety of senior financial positions, including Senior Vice President – Finance and Treasurer at Boston Chicken Inc. and Vice President – Financial Operations at The Limited. 

    He is an elected member of the Village Board of Wilmette, Illinois, a community of 27,000 in suburban Chicago. He also currently serves on the Leadership Advisory Council of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, an innovative school that provides college preparatory educations in an urban community of Chicago to students with limited financial resources. Bielinski holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and BS degrees in electrical engineering and management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
