Corporate giving to non-profits is a fundamental part of the way CIT does business around the world.

  • Submitting a Funding Proposal

    CIT supports 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and charitable organizations registered through the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) in Canada only. All proposals should include the following information:

    • Copy of 501(c)(3) or Charitable Registration Number
    • Amount of funding requested
    • Description of organization and programs
    • List of Board of Directors
    • History of past CIT support or CIT relationships

    All grants are considered on a year-to-year basis. Support of an organization in one year does not guarantee repeat support for future years.

    CIT does not support:

    • Individuals
    • Religious establishments
    • Political or legislative organizations campaigns or candidates
    • Memberships or dues for veteran, fraternal, conference or sports organizations
