    Managing Director, Corporate Development and M&A

    John P. Paradisi is the Managing Director of CIT Corporate Development and M&A (CDMA). CDMA identifies, evaluates and coordinates business acquisition and disposition activities for CIT globally. Paradisi has more than 16 years of experience in diversified financial services. 

    His areas of expertise include corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, asset and liability valuation, capital markets, consumer and commercial finance products, operational and management efficiency and business transition and integration.

    Previously, Paradisi oversaw CIT's Consumer Finance Capital Markets department from 2002 through 2010. In that role, he managed all aspects of a 35 employee Capital Markets group that focused on originating, purchasing and selling consumer products, which included mortgages, installment loans and student loans. Paradisi started his career at CIT in 2002 as Assistant Vice President of Capital Markets in Consumer Finance. He was promoted to Vice President in charge of structuring in 2003 and then to Senior Vice President and Group Head in 2005, where he sold and purchased more than $25 billion in assets. During his career at CIT, Paradisi has been responsible for transactions totaling over $50 billion in assets. 

    Before joining CIT, Paradisi held positions at Deutsche Bank in the Corporate & Investment Banking division and Cushman & Wakefield in the Commercial Real Estate Finance division. 

    Paradisi holds a BBA in Finance and an MBA in Management from Pace University. He is a member of the American Bankers Association, American Securitization Forum and the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association.
