Joining the No. 10 Konica Minolta Cadillac DPi-V.R Family

Rapid. Customized. Agile.

No, we’re not talking about our financing solutions and services. We’re describing the sleek, black racecar that CIT is sponsoring for the 2019 racing season: the No. 10 Konica Minolta Cadillac DPi-V.R.

CIT was announced as the exclusive banking sponsor at the recent “Roar Before the 24” event, a three-day test before the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway this weekend.

Our deep expertise in equipment financing and vendor programs has enabled us to provide Konica Minolta and its customers with financing for more than two decades. Our track record of success with Konica Minolta promises a rousing series of races in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

“We are proud to associate the excitement of racing with CIT’s reputation for speed, precision and agility in helping customers navigate their financial goals,” said Mike Jones, president of CIT’s Business Capital division. “We value our longstanding and successful relationship with Konica Minolta and look forward to a thrilling season of racing ahead.”

The 57th Rolex 24 race weekend kicks off the season on Thursday, Jan. 24, and runs through Sunday, Jan. 27. The No. 10 Konica Minolta Cadillac DPi-V.R team took home an impressive victory in 2017, and hopes are high that this year will bring an encore performance.

The team will include full-time co-drivers Jordan Taylor and Renger van der Zande, two-time Formula One champion Fernando Alonso, and former Formula One and current FIA World Endurance Championship regular Kamui Kobayashi. With that kind of star power, all eyes are on the team to deliver an extraordinary show.
