Managing Director, CIT Commercial & Industrial

Claude Mattessich is Managing Director of CIT Commercial & Industrial. He is responsible for originating asset based and cash flow lending opportunities focused on leveraged middle market companies undergoing buyouts, M&A, turnaround situations or working capital growth.

Mattessich has more than 17 years of experience working at banks and finance companies providing diverse financial products to middle market and small corporate borrowers. Prior to CIT, he held positions at Capital One Leverage Finance and was with Merrill Lynch Capital soliciting private equity sponsors and deal intermediaries for 1st lien and 2nd lien and equity co-investment opportunities for middle market buyouts and turnaround situations. Mattessich received a BA in Economics from Columbia University and an MBA with honors in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University’s Frank Zarb School of Business.
