President, CIT Europe

In this role, he is responsible for leading the European business, inclusive of Vendor Finance and Corporate Finance. The vendor finance business covers the equipment finance market, where CIT has an established and significant presence, particularly in the Technology and Office Equipment sector.  Through leveraging CIT's best-in-class European platform he is responsible for establishing and driving the execution of our growth strategy for the region - a strategy that emphasizes global relationships balanced with strong regional and local country relationships.

  • Prior to joining CIT, Green held a number of senior UK and European roles at General Electric. He served as COO of GE’s UK Consumer Finance business, European COO for GE’s Equipment Finance business, Managing Director for their UK Fleet business, Managing Director of the UK Capital Solutions (Leasing & Distribution Finance) business and most recently as CEO for GE's European Commercial Distribution Finance business. In these roles Rich was successful in strategically repositioning the businesses he led, improving operating performance and delivering growth through engaged and high performing teams. Rich is a member of the Institute of Credit Management.
