Steven N. Warden

Steven (Steve) N. Warden, President of CIT Healthcare, joined CIT in 2005 as a co-founder of the group. He is responsible for overseeing CIT’s advisory and financing activities in the sector, including syndicated cash flow financings, asset based loans, real estate financings, and M&A advisory engagements.

Steve Warden has had a diverse career in investment banking and commercial banking. His focus on the healthcare industry began in 1987 when, as an employee at Wells Fargo Bank, he was closely involved in the leveraged recapitalization of a number of large hospital companies. From 1992 to 2002, Warden was with Deutsche Bank Securities in New York, most recently as a Managing Director in the Leverage Finance Group, and was involved in many of the major debt financings completed by investor-owned healthcare providers. From 2002 to 2005, Warden was with GE Healthcare Financial Services as Managing Director in the Strategic Relationship Group. The group managed relationships with large hospital systems in the United States.
Warden began his banking career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in the Management Training Program, following his graduation from St. Lawrence University with a BA in Economics.
